At OAKO Denmark, we pride ourselves on building high-quality products that add value to our customers' lives. If you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of having received it. 

Please note that the return policy is defined by the following process: The request to return a product that does not have any manufacturing defects. If your product has a manufacturing defect, please consult the OAKO warranty page.

 

1 | RETURNS FROM EUROPE

  • Desk purchase incur a flat-rate return shipping fee of €80, while chair or accessory returns must be personally returned by the customer using their chosen shipping method. The return costs are covered by the client.

  • Excluded from the 30-day return policy are shipping fees, installation fees, custom products and samples. Though non-refundable/non-exchangeable, regular manufacturing warranties remain applicable.

 

2 | RETURNS FROM SWITZERLAND, NORWAY AND THE UNITED KINGDOM

  • Desk purchases incur a flat-rate return shipping fee of €150, while chair or accessory returns must be personally returned by the customer using their chosen shipping method. The return costs are covered by the client.
  • Excluded from the 30-day return policy are shipping fees, installation fees, custom products and samples. Though non-refundable/non-exchangeable, regular manufacturing warranties remain applicable.

 

3 | CONDITIONS OF THE RETURN POLICY

  • The products must be returned undamaged, in its original packaging, or its equivalent. While we understand that returned products may be susceptible to damage in transit, packing the items carefully, as close to their original packaging as possible, or with additional protection, is crucial. This precaution ensures that you cannot be held responsible for any damages incurred during transit.

  • If the packaging process is followed: We will refund 100% of the purchase price, minus the relevant return shipping fee (flat-rate desk or set return shipping fee in EU and outside EU) 

  • If the packaging process is not followed: We will refund the lowest amount between 85% of the original purchase price and 100% of the original purchase price minus the flat-rate return shipping fee for the desks or sets. 

  • Products that show signs of use or have been assembled incorrectly, leading to mechanical or visual damage, are not eligible for return or refund.

  • Our 30-day return policy is only applicable once. You cannot exchange or return a product a second time if you decide to purchase again with us after having returned your first order.

  • If our delivery partner makes several attempts within a week to contact the client but cannot do so due to incorrect contact information or unresponsiveness in order to schedule a delivery date, the item will be shipped back to us. In such an event, we will reimburse the order, excluding the delivery fees incurred by us.

 

4 | HOW TO RETURN A PRODUCT UNDER THE 30-DAY RETURN POLICY

STEP 1

  • Send us an email at info@oakodenmark.dk and be sure to give us:

  • Your order number (XXXXX)

  • Your full name

  • A list of products being returned

    P.S. It would be of tremendous help if you could also tell us why you’d like to return your products. We’re always looking to improve and your feedback goes a long way.

STEP 2

  • Pack your product in the original box (or its equivalent). Make sure to take pictures of the product in and out of its packaging and send them to info@oakodenmark.dk. This step will protect you from any damages that can happen in transit.

  • If you are returning a desk or set under our flat-rate return policy, please advise us of your preferred workday for the pickup and we will then schedule a pick-up with the relevant shipping partner at your location. Remember to confirm pickup address with us.

STEP 3

  • The refund will take up to 7 business days to process following the reception of the product, and the refunded amount will be credited back using the original payment method.
